"Our inns are perfect settings for hosting wedding parties and 'out of town' guests, the wedding ceremony, and rehearsal dinners and wedding receptions. Of course, the inns are extra special for honeymoons and anniversaries, too."

St. Francis Inn can expand its on-site offerings by hosting their guests' functions at the neighboring historic Llambias House and Garden and the newly enlarged St. Augustine Art Association. See our map for the proximity of these properties.

St. Francis Inn is a popular choice for small weddings, with its special touches like a dressing room for brides and attendants, lovely backdrops for garden wedding photos, delicious reception dinners, and romantic honeymoons ...all in one place.

The photos to the left show two wedding ceremonies held in the romantic setting of the lush walled garden of the St. Francis Inn. The St. Francis dining room is the perfect place for celebrating, seen set for a wedding reception dinner (photo below). The inn can even bake the wedding cake!

Each wedding we do is unique, so we do not have any fixed wedding packages. We sit down with each bride and groom to personally customize and design their wedding. Prices vary depending on group size, menu selections, and individual desires of the bride and groom.

We can provide all of the following options:

  • Lodging
  • Rehearsal "party" dinner
  • Ceremony (location)
  • Wedding Officiator (Florida Notary Public)
  • Reception (sit down/served or buffet)
  • Full bar or limited bar
  • Cake
  • Contacts for music, flowers & photographer

Note: We cannot allow you to bring in your own food or beverages for use in our function rooms.

Our Wedding Guidelines:

  • Small weddings (up to 9 people) can be held at either inn, with lodging required only for the bride & groom, not guests.
  • If a weekend wedding includes more than 9 guests, then lodging is required.
  • Weddings over a weekend (Saturday night) require a 2 night minimum for lodging.
  • No lodging discounts are given for weekend weddings (since we would be booked in any event).
  • For lodging during a weekend wedding:
    ...if your group will fill less than 50% of the inns rooms, we can accommodate you along with other inn guests
    ...if your group will fill more than 50% of the inns rooms, we require you to book the entire inn.

  • We can accommodate various sizes of weddings, depending on which of our two inns and function facilities are selected:
    - At St. Francis Inn, a courtyard ceremony and reception (Inn's dining room) can accommodate up to 16 people
    - A courtyard ceremony with the reception at the nearby (See Map) St. Augustine Art Center can accommodate up to 75 people (note: we reserve the Art Center for you).

Note: Many of these guidelines can usually be waived for mid-week weddings (no Saturday involved).
