Margaret's Room, in our Wilson House, has a private deck and easy access outdoors. This first floor accommodation features a king-sized bed (or twin beds). The full bath has a corner two-person whirlpool tub and shower. Guests enjoy relaxing on the Wilson House's front porch.
Four of St. Francis Inn's accommodations are in the Wilson House, built by John Wilson who owned the Inn in the late 1800s. Our Wilson House is just steps away from the Main Inn entrance, across the narrow brick-paved St. George Street - a very quiet one-way street with little traffic, so crossing back and forth is easy.
All guests staying in the Wilson House rooms and suites enjoy all the same free guest amenities and use of all the common areas as do all guests of St. Francis Inn. The Main Inn building is the center of activity, where our buffet breakfast is served, the evening socials occur, the coffee bar and evening desserts are served, and the gift center is located; easily accessed by those staying in the Wilson House.
This photo of the Wilson House exterior was taken from the Main Inn balcony, showing how close the two buildings are.
