Ignorance is a Choice Art Exhibit – Artist Donny Miller’s Ignorance is a Choice exhibit will be on display at St. Augustine’s space:eight Gallery. Donny’s unique graphic style of pairing seemingly benign images with witty declarations about humanity is as much philosophic as it is artistic. Elysium: The IMAX Experience– The IMAX Theatre at World Golf Hall of Fame will feature ELYSIUM set in the year 2159, where the very wealthy live on a man-made space station while the rest of the population resides on a ruined Earth. Guided Hike at Matanzas Inlet – Join GTM Research Reserve and National Park guides for a hiking tour along the inlet shores to learn about seashells, coquina rock, dune vegetation, heavy minerals, mollusks, dune vegetation and the history of beach sand. Colonial Crew Revue – Unique, audience-immersive musical and comedy show at the Colonial Quarter, 33 St. George Street. Sea Your History Weekend: Historic Lighthouses – Navigation, defense and hauntings
are the themes for the weekend presentation at the St. Augustine Lighthouse & Museum, 81 Lighthouse Ave. Friday from 3-6 p.m. help Lighthouse archaeologists unlock the secrets of long-lost shipwrecks. Saturday at 9 a.m. meet and work with traditional wooden boatbuilding as they build a boat from centuries gone by.
