James’ Beard award winning chef Brian Whittington opened Preserved with one thing in mind – providing the freshest, most sustainable and locally procured southern food in a charming and historic setting. Tucked into historic Lincolnville in the fully restored Jefferson House, the chefs showcase the fruits of the area’s local farmers, butchers, and ranchers in dishes that take their cue from the local heritage and flavors.
La Pentola
Located on one of St. Augustine’s oldest streets and housed in an authentic Second Spanish Period (1784-1821) home, La Pentola offers up seafood, wild game, inventive pastas, and a killer dessert menu. A native of Guadalajara, Mexico, chef and owner Jorge Talavera presents a spectacular array of dishes in the Mediterranean and Latin persuasion.

Anastasia Watersports
If you’re a little more hands on, head over to Anastasia State Park, where you can rent paddleboards, single and tandem kayaks, or a sprightly hobie cat sailboat. The staff offers tutorials on all of the equipment and then you can enjoy the secluded and protected inland waters of Salt Run.

Marineland Dolphin Adventure
Marineland, famously known as the world’s first oceanarium, is not an aquarium, but rather an educational and research facility that fosters the continued study and preservation of dolphins and welcomes the public to share in their knowledge. Although this is a smaller attraction, these dedicated professionals offer first class education interactions and experiences.
St. Augustine Wild Reserve
The St. Augustine Wild Reserve is a non-profit corporation created as a rescue center for unwanted exotic animals as an alternative to euthanasia. Tours are offered on select days, by reservation only, and include numerous large cat species, black bear, coatimundis, wolves, and servals.

Oddbirds Bar
A pop up bar located in small courtyard, their motto is relax and chill – alright! They offer a selection of artisan spirits and beers from all over the world, with a variety to suit any palate. They frequently host guest bartenders from all over the world, so the menu is ever changing.
The Chatsworth Publick House
Cozy up in this British style pub that’s anything but boring. With over 70 taps, the Chatsworth is pouring an incredible selection of craft, domestic, and imported beers, second to none.
