17TH ANNUAL HOLIDAY TOUR OF BED AND BREAKFAST INNS 1Holiday Tour of Inns among 2010 Top 20 Events

The 17th annual Holiday Tour of Historic Inns has been selected as one of the Southeast Tourism Society’s Top 20 Events for the month of December 2010. The holiday tour of St. Augustine bed and breakfast inns is scheduled for Saturday and Sunday, Dec. 11 and 12, this year.

The St. Francis Inn will be on the tour this Saturday afternoon, December 11th. Our restaurant partner is Meehan’s on Matanzas. YUMMY!

The inns, decked out in holiday finery, open their doors to hundreds of visitors who enjoy refreshments and food from St. Augustine’s finest restaurants, who partner with the inns for the festive open house. Many inns on the tour also offer art displays and musical entertainment. Last year’s tour also raised more than $6,000 for a local charity. A new twist in this year’s tour is live Webcam broadcast of the festivities on the St. Augustine Historic Inns Web site.
