This Memorial Day weekend, the skies above the Nation’s oldest city will be filled with daring men and women in their fabulous flying machines when the St. Augustine Air Show returns to the Northeast Florida Regional Airport. The two-day show will feature world-renowned aerobatic pilots, military exhibits and static displays and a special appearance by the world’s first car-nivorous monster – Robo Saurus.
Gates will open on both May 28 and 29 at 9:30 a.m. and the show will begin at 1 p.m. Among the performers will be aerobatic pilot Gene Soucy with wing-walker Teresa Stokes; the jet aerobatics of Team MS 760; the Misty Blues all-women skydiving team; Elliot Cross and his World War II Curtis P-40; Viper East F-16 Fighting Falcon jet fighter demonstration; and Shock Wave, the extreme jet-powered truck.
The event will honor America’s military with a special “Salute to Veterans” past and present. Proceeds from the show will support United Way of St. Johns County, Wounded Warrior Project, Special Operations Warrior Foundation and Naval Special Warfare Foundations (SEALS). Tickets are $10 for adults and $5 for children. For more details, go towww.StAugustineAirShow.net .
