Les Standiford – best-selling author of Bringing Adam Home, The Abduction that Changed America. Standiford brings to life the most significant missing child case since the Lindbergh’s—that of TV host John Walsh’s son Adam and the 25 year search for his killer. Standiford is the bestselling author of twenty books and novels, including the John Deal mystery series, and critically acclaimed works of narrative history, The Man Who Invented Christmas, Last Train to Paradise, Meet You in Hell, and Washington Burning. Recipient of the Frank O’Connor Award for Short Fiction, he is director of the Creative Writing Program at Florida International University in Miami.

Mary Anna Evans – author of the award-winning Faye Longchamp archeological mysteries. Although Mary Anna Evans has degrees in physics and engineering, her heart is in the past. Her latest novel,Strangers, is set in St. Augustine and features St. Augustine’s history from its 1565 founding through the Gilded Age, and into the present. Her work has received honors including the Benjamin Franklin Award, the Patrick D. Smith Florida Literature Award, and a Florida Book Awards Bronze Medal. In addition, her novels appear on the list of “Adult Mysteries with Young Adult Appeal.” She lives in Gainesville, Florida.
