Picasso: Art & Arena Exhibit – An exhibition featuring dozens of Picasso originals, including many that have never been seen previously in the United States. Both famous and rare, these pieces were produced in different styles, techniques and media; providing unique insights into one of Picasso’s main themes: bullfighting.  The exhibition is at the Visitor Information Center,10 Castillo Dr. in St. Augustine. Admission: Adults $10; Seniors $8; Kids 6 & Under – Free; Kids 7 – 12 – $5; Family of 4 – $20; Military in Uniform – Free; Flagler College Student with ID – Free. Edwin Augustus Moore Special Exhibit at the Lightner Museum – The private collection of Edwin Augustus Moore paintings are featured as a special exhibit at The Lightner Museum through May 1. Moore was an American painter, traveler, journalist, photographer and composer who used St. Augustine for many of his landscape watercolor subjects. He visited the ancient city in 1895 along with other members of his artistic and eccentric family. The Lightner Museum, located at 75 King Street, is open daily from 9 a.m. – 5 p.m. Admission is adults $10; Active military with ID $6; College students and young people 12-18 $5; Children under 12 (with adult) free; St. John’s County residents are free. 904-824-2874  
Art Exhibit: Global Latitudes: Travels Near & Far – The St. Augustine Art Association hosts a visual travelogue of the places and diverse cultures lost and found on planet Earth. “Negro Y Blanco” Art Exhibit at Space Eight – Exhibition of black and white creations by artist Anthony Ausgang. Titled “Negro Y Blanco,” the exhibit takes place at the Space Eight Gallery, 228 W. King St., in St. Augustine. www.spaceeight.com  904-829-2838

What Could Be Exhibition – Artist Anna von Mertens’ What Could Be exhibition is on display at the Crisp-Ellert Art Museum, 48 Sevilla St., in St. Augustine. The artist meticulously translates empirical data about subjects as far ranging as energy in nuclear explosions to auras in historical paintings into paintings, hand-dyed and hand-stitched fabrics. Sunset/Moonrise at St. Augustine Lighthouse – Enjoy the sunset and moonrise from the most unique perspective in all of St. Augustine – the top of the Lighthouse! This special event includes a champagne toast, provided by San Sebastian Winery, hors d’oeuvres from The Reef and an informative overview of the history of the St. Augustine Light Station, 81 Lighthouse Ave. Admission is $25 for non-museum members and $20 for members. Full Moon Sail on Schooner Freedom – Celebrate the arrival of spring with a moonlight cruise aboard the Schooner Freedom. This full moon was known to Native American tribes as the Full Worm Moon because they considered it to be the last full moon of the winter. The ground was thawing and the earthworms as well as their predators, the robins would appear. Complimentary soda, water, beer, and wine are included in the cost of $35 per person. Human Follies Art Exhibit – A special opening event for the new Peter Cerreta art exhibit will be held at 6:30 p.m. at the 233 West King art gallery, located at 233 West King Street in St. Augustine. Cerreta will be present to answer questions about how he is able to capture the humor and spirit of his characters depicted in Human Follies. Admission is free. Spring Break Eco-Style – Cruise the Matanzas River aboard St. Augustine Eco tour’s Explorer boat while a certified Naturalist provides fascinating details about local marine wildlife. Good Friday Sailing Excursion – 
Traverse the picturesque waters of the Intercoastal Waterway on this 2-hour tour aboard an incredibly stable 27′ catamaran. Capture International Video Art Exhibit – The Crisp-Ellert Art Museum at Flagler College will host a free, one-night exhibition of video art at 7 p.m. at Sevilla St. Ryan Tempro, Bachelor of Fine Art and Graphic Design student, along 48 with Patrick Moser, Chair of the Department of Art and Design, have co-organized Capture, which will include selected video-based works by various United States and abroad artists. Limelight Theatre Presents: The Rainmaker – Richard Nash’s play about the Curry family and their hopes of a marriage and rain during the American Depression Era. Performance times are Thursday through Saturday at 7:30 p.m. and Sundays at 2 p.m. All performances take place at the Limelight Theatre, located at 11 Old Mission Ave. in St. Augustine. Living History Days at Fort Mose – From 10 a.m.- 2 p.m., volunteers in period clothing offer visitors a fascinating glimpse into the past at the site of the first, legally-sanctioned, free black community in the United States. Program is weather permitting. Fort Mose State Park located at 15 Fort Mose Trail in St. Augustine. Authors, Artists & Exploration – A celebration of St. Augustine’s local authors and artists at the Pioneer Barn at Fort Menendez, 259 San Marco Avenue from 10 a.m. – 4 p.m. A suggested donation of $3 per person to the exhibit will benefit the St. Johns Cultural Council. Timucua Indians at Faver-Dykes – Faver-Dykes State Park hosts stories about the Timucuan Indians from 2 p.m. – 4 p.m.   See a 1500’s Timucuan Camp and experience the food, clothing and shelter of these amazing people first hand. Vilano Beach Easter Sunrise Service – The Church at Vilano and Christian Communion of St. Augustine/Vilano will host the 13th Vilano Beach Easter Sunrise Service. The 45 minute beach service will feature songs, dance, drama and a brief message about the joy and hope of the Christian experience. The worship service is at 7 a.m. with meditational music at 6:30 a.m. Park on the beach, street, or at Publix. Bring chairs and blankets.

Crescent Beach Easter Sunrise Service – Greet the Easter sunrise with thousands of worshippers at Crescent Beach.  The program, presented by Crescent Beach Baptist Church, begins at 7:15 a.m. on the beach with special music and an inspiring message. 904-794-7777

St. Augustine Easter Promenade – Annual event featuring locals and visitors alike promenading through in their Easter finery. Prizes are awarded for prettiest hats, largest family, family from farthest away, best-dressed animals and more.
