4th Annual Nature & Wildlife Exhibit – This stunning exhibition features landscapes, floral, marine life, birds, plant life and more. Ignorance is a Choice Art Exhibit – Artist Donny Miller’s Ignorance is a Choice exhibit will be on display at St. Augustine’s space:eight Gallery. Donny’s unique graphic style of pairing seemingly benign images with witty declarations about humanity is as much philosophic as it is artistic. Elysium: The IMAX Experience– The IMAX Theatre at World Golf Hall of Fame will feature ELYSIUM set in the year 2159, where the very wealthy live on a man-made space station while the rest of the population resides on a ruined Earth. Free Movies By The Bay – Ripley’s St. Augustine Attractions and the St. Augustine Municipal Marina present free movies each Wednesday and Friday throughout the summer. The movies are shown at 8:30 p.m. at the Marina behind Bayfront Mini Golf, 111 Avenida Menendez. Bring beach chair and blanket for comfortable seating by the bay. Guided Hike at Matanzas Inlet – Join GTM Research Reserve and National Park guides for a hiking tour along the inlet shores to learn about seashells, coquina rock, dune vegetation, heavy minerals, mollusks, dune vegetation and the history of beach sand. Colonial Crew Revue – Unique, audience-immersive musical and comedy show at the Colonial Quarter, 33 St. George Street. Performing on the Colonial Quarter’s stage beneath the stately Colonial Oak, the 8 p.m. show features the Picolata Players who share their music, magic and zany stage performances in a one-of-a-kind tribute to the history of St. Augustine. Sea Your History Weekend: Historic Lighthouses – Navigation, defense and hauntings
are the themes for the weekend presentation at the St. Augustine Lighthouse & Museum, 81 Lighthouse Ave. Friday from 3-6 p.m. help Lighthouse archaeologists unlock the secrets of long-lost shipwrecks. Saturday at 9 a.m. meet and work with traditional wooden boatbuilding as they build a boat from centuries gone by. Guided Beach Exploration at Guana South Beach – Join GTM Research Reserve Docents from 8:30 to 10: 30 a.m. for a beach walk at the Guana South beach location on A1A, South Ponte Vedra Beach. Learn about the animals that call the beach home as well as seashells and other interesting facts. This is a “Beaches 101” experience that the entire family will enjoy. Civil Rights & Black Heritage Tour– St. Augustine Black Heritage Tours Inc. will offer a FREE historic walking tour at 5 p.m. Learn about St. Augustine’s historic role in Black History and events leading up to the Civil Rights act of 1964. Tours depart from the Tour Saint Augustine office, 4 Granada Street and encompass several blocks over the course of an hour.
