There’s a great new Irish Pub in town – Meehan’s on Matanzas. Joe and Margaret tried it last week and loved the food, service, and atmosphere. Kelly (our Inn Manager) and Mike also tried it last week and were back this weekend. The location is great – right on the bayfront – on the corner of Avenida Menendez and Hypolita Streets – walking distance from the St. Francis Inn. The menu is a combination of the traditional (Corned Beef and Cabbage, Shepherd’s Pie, etc.) and the upscale (Salmon, Steaks, Chicken, and Seafood). There is also a Raw Bar. Next time you’re in town give it a try. Their slogan is: “Eat, Drink, and Be Irish!”
