Flavors Top Chef Cook Off, a Benefit for Home Again St. Johns – Chefs from around Florida’s Historic Coast will compete “iron- chef style” to become the Flavors Top Chef. Each chef will prepare a dish to present to a panel of celebrity judges. In addition to the exciting competition, there will be plenty of tastes of the Flavors of Florida’s Historic Coast to sample and a silent auction, all to benefit Home Again St. Johns. The Cook Off takes place 6 – 9 p.m. in the Ballroom at Renaissance World Golf Village Resort. Tickets are $30 per person and include 5 tasting tickets. Additional taste tickets are available at the event.

Pellicer Creek Raid – A Civil War Re-Enactment – Florida Agricultural Museum presents a living history look at Florida during the Civil War. Authentic camps for 1864 cavalry, artillery and infantry troops will be open to the public 10 a.m. – 4 p.m. each day. 16th Annual Greek Festival – Greek music, dance and food are featured at this annual festival set in a virtual Greek village at St. Augustine’s Francis Field. The Hellenic Band and Nisiotes and Asteria Greek Dancers are featured performers. There will be an authentic Agora market, a Cafenio, a Taverna, kids center and much more. Corn Maze at Skyes and Cooper Farms – A 9-acre corn maze full of “cornfusing” twists and turns, “live” entertainment including Jack, the loudest hee-hawing donkey around and some more good ole family fun will be at the Sykes and Cooper Farms. The African Market at Fort Mose  – The African American Future Society Inc, creates an African Village experience at Fort Mose, the first free African settlement in North America. Activities, include storytelling, dancers and drummers, take place from 9 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. each day (outdoor musical performances 11:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m.) and will feature programs and exhibits about the languages, styles, traditions, food, art and music of West Africa. A Victorian Halloween at Villa Zorayda Museum – Enjoy period decorations from the late 1800’s – early 1900’s along with the more traditional Halloween decorations at Villa Zorayda Museum. See the ghost of Franklin Smith, architect and builder of the house, as he writes a letter to his beloved wife, Laura. Mile Marker Brewing Second Anniversary Celebration – Come help celebrate two years of Mile Marker Brewing in St. Augustine. From noon to midnight, Mile Marker Brewery’s family and pet friendly party will feature door prizes and drink specials, Mother Fletcher’s food truck, music by local musician Adam Lee, and a DJ at 7 p.m. In addition to its “signature” beers, the brewery will tap several new beers, including rotating favorites and new seasonal brews, such as Mile Marker 318 Datil Pepper Ale and Pumpkin Milk Stout. 11th Annual Herbs in the Gardens Festival – From 10 a.m. – 3 p.m.,The Friends of Washington Oaks present the 11th Annual Herbs in the Gardens. A large variety of herbs will be available from Maggie’s Herb Farm. At 11 a.m., Dora Baler will discuss “Culinary & Medical Uses of Herbs.” At noon, there will be a demonstration using herbs in the kitchen. Beginning at 2 p.m. a Garden Tour, led by a Park Ranger, will take place. Picolata Players at Colonial Quarter – Every Saturday evening at 8 p.m., the talented performance troupe Picolata Players takes the stage under the stately Colonial Oak at the Colonial Quarter’s outdoor theatre.  The hour-long Improve Sketch Comedy shows infuse merriment with the rich Spanish Colonial history of St. Augustine. Discover the Birds of Anastasia – Led by an Anastasia State Park volunteer, this fun and informative walk is open to participants of all birding levels. From 8:30-10:30 a.m., observe a diverse variety of shore birds, marsh birds and hammock birds by walking the beach, boardwalks, nature trails and other areas. Dress for the weather and bring binoculars, water, comfortable walking shoes and a field guide if you have one. Meet at the Island Beach Shop & Grill pavilion.
