What a great way to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day! The Bridge of Lions reopened today after a short ceremony. The refurbished Bridge of Lions will have a more spectacular celebration once the marble lions – removed for refurbishment and safe storage during this project – return to their pedestals at the western entrance.
The temporary bridge that has allowed locals and visitors to travel to Anastasia Island for the past four years was closed and will be dismantled.
