Thankfully, large events and concerts are back on the menu, and the St. Augustine Amphitheater is such a fantastic venue to catch a live show. Often referred to as “The Amp” by locals, this incredible outdoor concert and event venue is located just outside downtown proper, right across the famed Bridge of Lions and on the edge of Anastasia State Park. The thoughtful design makes every seat in the house worth the ticket price.
The St. Augustine Amphitheater can host more than 4,000 people, but it still feels like an intimate venue, thanks in part to a significant renovation in 2002. In fact, Pollstar Magazine, a leading publication for the concert and live music venue industry, ranked the St. Augustine Amphitheater as the number two location in the United States for a show and number three in the world. That’s some pretty high praise, and just one more reason it’s time to book your tickets.
First, you’ll want to secure your St. Augustine lodging, and our Florida Bed and Breakfast is the ideal place to call your home away from home. The St. Francis Inn is a historic hotel in the center of this iconic city by the sea, with many complimentary amenities included in your stay. Our guest rooms are comfortable and elegant, with everything you need for a relaxing and exciting getaway. Plus, we’re only ten minutes away from the St. Augustine Amphitheater!

The Line up at St. Augustine Amphitheater for 2022
The St. Augustine Amphitheater offers two different experiences: The Backyard Stage and The Front Porch Stage. The Backyard Stage is where the majority of the acts perform, and it really is an up-close, intimate experience to see your favorite bands. It’s general admission and standing room only, which always makes for a fun atmosphere. And delicious concessions are available from local food and drink providers.
The second experience at the St. Augustine Amphitheater is The Front Porch Stage, which is just like it sounds, as it serves as a gathering space for the community. Folks head here to grab a bite to eat before a concert, and during the local Farmers Market and Night Market, this spot is always hopping. The St. Augustine Amphitheater is more than just a concert venue; it’s a place for visitors and locals alike to celebrate live music and the artistry that goes along with it.
