  1. Driving is easily accessible from the North and South via Interstate 95, which runs up and down the east coast from Miami to Maine. This is the most direct route of how you can get to St. Augustine if you are coming from these directions. U.S. Highway 1 and scenic Florida Highway A1A are fun drives through interesting towns and places of interest along the way. US Highway 1 parallels Interstate 95 and runs from Key West to up to Maine as well. A1A is a gorgeous drive that connects state parks, National Monuments, beaches, and nature trails. If you are coming in from the west, you’ll take Interstate 10, which runs from east to west across the southern United States that begins/ends in Jacksonville.
  2. Flying in, you have the choice of 2 major airports. Jacksonville International Airport (JAX) is about 50 minutes north of St. Augustine. It is a 3 concourse airport served by national and regional airlines. Daytona Beach International Airport (DAB) is also about 50 minutes but from the south of St. Augustine. If you happen to be arriving by private plane, The Northeast Florida Regional Airport (SJC) is just a 10-minute drive to St. Augustine.
  3. Once you get here via flying, you may want to get a private black car service to drive you into St. Augustine.
