Nao Victoria Tour – Tour this full-sized replica  16th century Spanish tall ship. Docked at the St. Augustine City Marina.  The Nao Victoria is a replica of the first ship to successfully circumnavigate the world commanded by Ferdinand Magellan in the 16th century. Music by the Sea Concert Series 2014 – Every Wednesday night through September 24, live concerts take place from 7 – 9 p.m. at the St. Augustine Beach Pier Pavilion. 2014 Concerts in the Plaza – – The 24th season of Concerts in the Plaza continues with a free live performance every Thursday night from 7 – 9 p.m. in St. Augustine’s historic Plaza de la Constitucion.  Bring a chair or blanket for seating. Saltwater Fishing Workshops – Washington Oaks Gardens State Park will host a series of hands-on, saltwater fishing workshops to teach visitors the basic techniques for catching fish, as well as
the importance of conservation and safety.  The workshops are designed for two different age groups.  Adult workshops for ages 18 and over, will be held Thursdays, July 10, 17, 24 & 31.  Youth workshops for ages eight to 17, will take place on Fridays, July 11, 18, & 25.  The 3-hour workshops start at 9 a.m. and costs $20 per participant, including park entrance fee.  Advance registration is required.  6400 North Oceanshore Boulevard, Palm Coast, 386-446-6783;

John Legend Concert – St. Augustine Amphitheatre hosts nine-time Grammy Award winner John Legend. “An Evening with John Legend Tour” features John in an intimate and acoustic setting highlighted by guitar/vocal accompaniment as well as a string quartet.  In a recent review, Billboard hailed the show as “one of the best concerts ever.”  The concert comes on the heels of Legend’s latest hit, “All of Me,” which recently claimed the #1 spot on Billboards Hot 100 Singles Chart. World Wide Rodeo – Big time rodeo comes to the St. Johns County Fairgrounds!  Events include breakaway roping, calf roping, team roping, junior barrel racing, open barrel racing, chute dogging and bull riding.  The rodeo begins at 8 p.m. each evening.  Admission is $12 for ages 13 and up; $7 ages 6-12; free for ages 5 and under.  S.R. 207, Elkton.  904-845-7492

Bridge of Lions 5K Run – The annual run across St. Augustine’s Bridge of Lions starts at 7:30 a.m. Runners and walkers start at the historic Castillo de San Marcos (The Fort), in downtown St. Augustine, run over the Bridge of Lions, and through Davis Shores. The race finishes at Oglethorpe Park, on Anastasia Island. Advance registration is $25 & $30 and $35 day of race. Family Seining at the GTM Research Reserve – Join GTM Research Reserve docents from 8:30 – 10:30 a.m. to learn how to pull a seine net, collecting species of fish, crabs and more.  Learn about the animals and their roles in the habitat.  Waders and boots will be provided. Beer Truck Wars – Sample brews from around the state and great food from local beer trucks while enjoying live and recorded music and fun games with great prizes at the first ever Beer Truck Wars in St. Augustine.  Event wristband tickets are $35 in advance $45 at the door. Plant-A-Poem Workshop and Reading – Arrive with a poem seed and cultivate it in an hour with miracle grow from the Ancient City Poets.   The workshop is 1:45 – 3 p.m. at The Gallery Cafe, 1974 US 1 (in the OLD Staples Plaza) in St. Augustine. $10 per person includes endless coffee and sweet treats.
