Picasso: Art & Arena Exhibit – An exhibition featuring dozens of Picasso originals, including many that have never been seen previously in the United States. Both famous and rare, these pieces were produced in different styles, techniques and media; providing unique insights into one of Picasso’s main themes: bullfighting. The exhibition is at the Visitor Information Center,10 Castillo Dr. in St. Augustine. Tours of El Galeón – El Galeón, a unique replica of the 16th century Spanish galleons that sailed to and from newly-discovered Florida, will be open for tours at the St. Augustine City Marina thru June 9. Tickets are $15 for adults/$8 for children; Children 5 and under are free when accompanied by a ticketed adult. What Flows From Spain Exhibit – In recognition of Florida’s quincentennial, the St. Augustine Art Association features a special exhibit of the works of Cuban-American artist Elio Beltran. The exhibit, titled What Flows From Spain, includes several large-scale narrative paintings emphasizing Florida’s ties to Spain. Drake’s Raid Encampment at the Fountain of Youth – Sir Francis Drake’s raiders open their camp to the public as part of their re-enactment of their 1586 destruction of St. Augustine. Solarium Tours – Following a $2.3 million restoration, the magnificent Solarium of Henry Flagler’s Hotel Ponce de Leon is now open for public tours. Closed for decades, the Solarium was one of the outstanding amenities of the hotel when opened in 1888. Now Flagler College, the former hotel was one of the world’s most exclusive destinations during America’s Gilded Age. The Solarium is a fourth floor parlor above the Rotunda and boasts a breathtaking panoramic view of the city. The 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. Solarium tours, which include the hourly Historical Tours of Flagler College, are $18 per person.

Feel the Wheels Benefiting The Children’s Museum of St. Johns – The Junior Service League of St. Augustine fundraiser benefiting The Children’s Museum of St. Johns takes place in front of the St. Augustine Outlet Mall on the east side of I-95 (exit 318) from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Explore construction vehicles, semi-trucks, service vehicles, boats and much more.
