Calling Bird Cupcakes
For the Cupcakes…                                                            For the Frosting…
1 box – red velvet cake mix                                                8 oz Cream cheese (softened)
4 eggs                                                                                     4 cups powdered sugar
½ cup vegetable oil                                                              1 tsp vanilla
1 cup milk                                                                             Milk (if needed to reach proper                        consistency)

1 .  Mix all ingredients for cake together.  Pour into lined muffin pans.  Bake as directed on the box.
2.  Cream the cream cheese, powdered sugar and vanilla together to make frosting.  Add milk (SMALL AMOUNT AT A TIME) if the frosting is too stiff.
3.  Frost cooled cupcakes. –Top with Sugar Cookie Birds and Sprinkles
For the Sugar Cookies…
1 cup sugar                           1 cup butter
1 egg                                       1 tsp vanilla
1 tsp baking powder           3 cups of flour
1 – Cream butter, sugar and egg together; add vanilla, baking powder and flour.
2 – Roll dough on a lightly floured surface.  Cut cookies and place on parchment lined baking sheet. 
3 – Bake at 350 for 8-12 minutes (depending on the size of the cookie).
