From bicycle touring to an exposition of bike vendors and food, this second annual event features North Florida Bicycle Club’s Endless Watermelon Ride; vendors from local bicycle shops and bike manufacturers; Adult and Children’s Bicycle Safety Course; and performances by two live bands, Pili Pili and Trap Door. Friends of Washington Oaks Second Saturday Plant Sale * SATURDAY, SEPT 11
Come explore Washington Oaks State Park and shop for featured plants that are unusual and hard to find. Many of the plants were propagated and grown in the park by volunteers. All proceeds benefit the park for enhancement of current and new facilities. The sale takes place from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Washington Oaks Gardens State Park is located at 6400 N.
