Nao Victoria Tour – Tour this full-sized replica 16th century Spanish tall ship. Patriot Golf Days at the Hall of Fame – The World Golf Hall of Fame joins with the PGA of America in support of the seventh annual Patriot Golf Days, which benefit the Folds of Honor Foundation (www.FoldsofHonor.org). The Foundation provides post-secondary educational scholarships for children and spouses of military service men and women killed or disabled while serving. World Golf Hall of Fame will match donations from visitors collected at the box office for Folds of Honor. First Friday Art Walk – From 5 – 9 p.m. on the first Friday of every month, the Art Galleries of St. Augustine feature new exhibits, refreshments and live music at more than 20 galleries. Hand, Voice and Vision Exhibition – Artists’ books by 36 artists published over 30 years by the Women’s Studio Workshop are featured at the opening of this new exhibit at The Crisp-Ellert Art Museum at Flagler College. The St. Augustine Outdoorsman Adventure and Boat Show – The outdoorsman’s show of the year takes place daily from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. at St. Augustine’s Francis Field, located behind the Historic Downtown Parking Facility on West Castillo Drive. All kinds of outdoor gear for hunting, fishing, hiking, camping and boating will be on display, including RV’s, ATV’s, kayaks, canoes, surf equipment, fishing boats, sportswear and more. The Founding of St. Augustine – Florida Living History, Inc., Mission Nombre de Dios and the Diocese of St. Augustine present the annual, historical re-enactment of the Admiral Don Pedro Menendez de Aviles’ landing and founding of the city of St. Augustine in the year 1565. The event is from 10 a.m. to noon. Admission is free. Mission Nombre de Dios, 27 Ocean Avenue 877-352-4478 Founder’s Day at the Fountain of Youth – Beginning at noon, historical re-enactors depicting the crew of Pedro Menendez de Aviles will process from the Mission up Magnolia Street to the Fountain of Youth Archaeological Park, the original location of Menendez’ first settlement of St. Augustine. Once there, a blessing and reenactment of the first Thanksgiving will occur as Timucuans, nobles, priests, Captains, and commoners celebrate the successful founding of the settlement four and a half centuries ago. There will be a demonstration kitchen set up using foods and techniques from the 1500s as the first documented Thanksgiving in the Continental US is re-enacted. In addition, local restaurants will offer heritage inspired foods for sale in the Fountain’s 3,000 square foot Events Pavilion.
