BEACH BLAST OFF 2013 – 4PM-10PM
Ice sculpting, a chili cook-off, live entertainment and fireworks will be part of Beach Blast Off 2013 at the St. Augustine Beach pier, 350 A1A Beach Blvd., St. Augustine Beach. Festivities will be from 4 to 10 p.m. Dec. 31, with a fireworks display synchronized with music at 8:30 p.m. The after-party continues from 9 to 10 p.m. with music and dancing. Food vendors, a beer and wine zone with two 80-inch TVs, a kids zone with face painting, clowns and pony rides will be offered. Free shuttles and free parking will be available at Anastasia Baptist Church, Amici’s shopping center parking, R. B. Hunt Elementary School, St. Augustine Beach City Hall, Winn Dixie (on the island) and Harbour Island Executive Center. Parking at Anastasia State Park will be $5 per car, with a free shuttle.
