The second annual Battle of Bloody Mose reenactment was held at Fort Mose Historic State Park on Saturday afternoon.In the first photo, gunpowder explodes as Jim Morecraft of Jacksonville fires his musket while portraying a British soldier in Oglethorpe’s regiment.In the second photo, the sporadic sound of musket fire prompts Erik Coeke, 8, to plug his ears while with his aunt, Sofie Snapp, during the reenactment.In the last photo, reenactors portraying Spanish soldiers fire their muskets.
